Colman Domingo’s first major TV role
Scenario
Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos.. God, I wanted to love this. I’ve liked other things Coleman has done, but this is a waste of time.
He’s not that important
Some really questionable and predictable script decisions and, unfortunately, not a very good performance overall. And poor Colman is just not a real actor. It reminded me of Tyler Perry trying to play Alex Cross.
It’s just unbelievable
As the series went on, and scene after scene, two people inexplicably whispered to each other about plot points (why don’t you SHOW us?), it was really hard not to fall asleep. It was painful to watch Coleman run. I always find it funny when non-sports actors get the chance to play tough roles.
Let’s move on to the next one
(He wasn’t good at action in Fear the Walking Dead, and he’s not here either.) This always pisses me off and smacks of a vanity project. His mouth is open in every scene as he “thinks” (saying he’s uncomfortable and worried about acting “straight”, in my opinion). Not everyone is meant to be an action star. Skip this.
