Abrams’ “Lost” almost had a completely different cast
Scenario
Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island… J.J. See which A-listers didn’t make it onto one of the most popular TV shows of all time. Sawyer’s character was originally supposed to be an older, handsome, suit-wearing urban crook from Buffalo, NY.

But when Josh Holloway forgot a line during auditions and then kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge it gave Sawyer’s character and decided to write Sawyer as a more Southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. But when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In fact, in Korea, it’s not even allowed to marry with the same last name, except in rare circumstances..

The strange opening credits were created by J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white as a tribute to The Twilight Zone. I’ve watched a lot of TV in my life, maybe too much. But this is the best TV series I’ve seen in ages.

You just can’t predict what’s going to happen. It seems like every week the show tells us something new about the island and its people. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what’s going to happen, then before I know it, the show is over and I have to wait to find out what happens next. Absolutely riveting!
This show is amazing and I hope they keep it going because often fantastic shows in the US get cancelled because the ratings start to dip a bit or the executives think the shows are too weird
I really hope the series continues so we can catch it here in England because it’s a fantastic show and I would love to have a DVD of this series so I can hook all my friends up too.
