When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence was asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and was going to audition people like Ford. Siegel told Goldstein that they should have at least presented it to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately refuse, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford got the project, which would cause interest from other famous actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take on the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled anyway.. It’s about a grieving therapist (Jason Segal), who has suffered enough and begins to tell his patients exactly what he really thinks about them. What follows is a really funny series that will make you laugh out loud. The best part of the show is the interaction between Seagal and Harrison Ford’s characters. This show received only excellent reviews for a reason. This show will undoubtedly be nominated for all sorts of awards, and deservedly so. It should be going well because it has already been renewed for a second season. Can’t wait to see more of this!
